2-4 Grooves, a German house music product consisting of Sascha Mulder and Stephan Drobez, was founded in 2002. The duo released their first EP, The Love E.P., in 2004 on Secret Service Records. Their breakthrough came with the release of "The Way I Do" in 2006, a cover of Melissa Etheridge's song, which topped the official Dancecharts by Media Control and was the highest new entry in the German DJ Playlist. Following this success, they released the album The Way I Do in 2007. Subsequent releases included "Writing on the Wall" (2008), a remake of John Parr's "St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)", and "Relax" (2009), featuring Reki D. The duo also delivered over 50 remixes for various artists, including Cascada and Sylver.
