Tristan Blaskowitz is a German-Canadian keyboardist, composer for video games, films and theatre productions as well as a filmmaker. As a self-taught musician, Tristan developed his skills alongside his media design studies, specializing in imaginative arrangements for orchestras, synthesizers, and vocals. In addition to commissioned work, he takes responsibility for his own albums and singles.
In 2016, he presented his debut concert, "Bedtime Story - Live In Concert," a unique show combining orchestras, choirs, acting, and film elements to perform the soundtrack for the eponymous video game.
His piano cover of Greensleeves garnered over 4.5 million views on YouTube. In 2019, he released a new studio recording with singer Laura Heinz.
In 2020, Tristan scored the dadaist silent film "Anémic cinéma" by Marcel Duchamp in his single Spiral blending synthesizers, orchestras, and altered soundscapes.
In 2021, his first game soundtrack was released on the Steam platform for the puzzle game Believe by Sleeping Forest Interactive.
The premiere of the children's musical "Vision Europa - Das Musical" took place in 2022, a collaboration with author Lisa Maria Wehle and artist Alina Atlantis.
In late 2022, Tristan released the album Short Stories, a compilation of various soundtracks and songs from previous years.
His musical inspirations are drawn from the works of Mike Oldfield, The Moody Blues, Rick Wakeman and Philip Glass.
