Absolom was a Belgian dance project produced by Christophe Chantzis and DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz. The duo began their journey in 1997, with vocalist Pascale Feront contributing to the group's distinctive sound. Absolom gained significant traction with their debut single "Secret", which topped the Belgian and Spanish Dance Charts by the end of 1997. The B-side track "Baby Boomers" also garnered considerable popularity. In October 1998, Absolom released their follow-up single "Where?", which reached number 21 in the Belgian charts. The subsequent single "The Air" peaked at number 16, marking the second-highest chart position since "Secret". In August 2000, the group released their final single "Stars", but it failed to chart in Europe. However, the track found success in the US after being signed by New Jersey-based label Xtreme Records, spending several weeks on the dance charts. Despite an announced album that was never released, Absolom disbanded in 2001 following the underwhelming European release of "Stars". Christophe Chantzis later joined Ian Van Dahl's team and Pascale Feront pursued a solo career with her album Real Life in 2002.
