NEW reissues and masters and a few lost gems coming in 2024
Formed in 1990 after performing all over North America with Iconic Moev front man, the Late Dean Russell with guitar sideman Stewart, the hard-drinking hard-hitting musicians had such a hell of a great time performing for sold-out venues all over North America. After a recording session at Mushroom Studios for a Brave New Waves compilation, they decided to join forces. Eight months later, they carved out a blistering dark release called "Identification". This 9-song collection was recorded in a studio condo located at the infamous Vancouver drug corner Hastings and Carrall Street, adding to its mystique.
"Identification" is a hidden gem that showcases the duo's talent. The album includes a standout track called "Rough Edges", with its sultry
and adulating porn groove it beat down the door of the 90s invasion sound. Unfortunately, the Master Mix tapes were stolen, but remixes with the original track are underway, and a remastered version with modernized sounds is expected soon.
After Dean Russell died in 1994, Stewart continued to record with producer Mike Landolt. In 1995, with an all-star cast of players, they completed the timeless album "The Lost Years". The album continues to receive sales and plays in the sci-fi world of streaming. It has become a classic in its genre. All hard copies of "The Lost Years" have sold out, but there could be a reissue in the future of an album that continues to march through time, cementing its place in music history.
