Satanic Surfers is a Swedish skate punk band formed in 1989 in Lund. Founded by Rodrigo Alfaro and Erik Kronwall, the group released its debut EP, Skate to Hell, in 1993. In 1994, the ensemble signed with Burning Heart Records and released the EP Keep Out, featuring vocalist Ulf Eriksson. Following Kronwall's departure, Alfaro transitioned to lead vocals. The band released its debut studio album, Hero of Our Time, in 1995, which sold 60,000 copies. The group performed tours across Europe, Australia, and North America with bands including Lagwagon and Millencolin. After returning to Bad Taste Records, the ensemble released Fragments and Fractions (2000) and Unconsciously Confined (2002). The group disbanded in 2007 but resumed activity in 2014. The band released the album Back from Hell in 2018, featuring the single “The Usurper”. In 2019, Alfaro resumed both drumming and vocal duties.
