My music is like a shadow box: a carefully curated archive of memory, feeling, and sound. I’m drawn to things that feel fragile but worth keeping. Queer and Brooklyn-based, I write slow-burning, harmonically inventive songs at the intersection of folk, soul, and pop, with a touch of drama and a lot of care. Think Joni Mitchell at a dive bar, with Stevie Wonder's vocal stylings and a tarot deck on hand. Find me somewhere between a whisper and a wail.
This year I'm releasing a completely re-recorded tenth anniversary reimagining of my debut EP, Providence. Same songs, more lived-in voice and sense of myself. My music is for people who write long letters, and people who keep them. Expect wonder, expect longing and the strange poetry of time. Staying soft in a hard world is a matter of great importance.
