Fel Sweetenberg is a notable figure in the American independent hip-hop scene. Hailing from Camden, New Jersey, he first gained recognition in '98 with his group Da Nuthouse, upon their debut release on the legendary New York label Fondle 'Em, founded by Bobbito Garcia (responsible for launching artists like MF Doom). The group later signed with Goodvibe Recordings, alongside Slum Village and J Dilla, with whom they toured.
In 2004, Sweetenberg released his first solo project, firmly establishing himself as a producer. Several years later, he continues his journey with the EFFISCIENZ label, notably releasing the EP "The Invisible Garden," entirely produced by DJ Brans, which was warmly received by "Hip-hop heads".
Known and appreciated for his sharp, incisive flow, he remains a favorite among East Coast rap aficionados.
