Hot Banditoz were founded in Hamburg in 2004 as a German Latino pop band. The original line-up consisted of the singers Fernanda Brandão, Gabriela Gottschalk and the singer Silva Gonzalez. The group plays Latino pop, Eurodance and bubblegum-oriented party music and quickly attracts attention with its danceable rhythms and Spanish-language hooks. The band's breakthrough came directly with their debut single "Veo Veo" (2004), which reached number 3 in the German singles charts and became a summer anthem. Equally successful is "Shake Your Balla (1, 2, 3 Alarma)", which also enters the charts in 2005 and creates a great atmosphere in clubs. 2004 also saw the release of the first album Mini Disco (number 52 in Germany), a collection of cheerful summer songs and cover versions of popular vacation tunes. This is followed by further releases such as Bodyshaker (2005) and Best Of Holiday Club Hits (2007) with more party tracks and vacation classics. Over the years, the band undergoes several personnel changes. In 2008, Silva Gonzalez left the group temporarily and was replaced by José Valdes, until the band initially disbanded in 2010. In 2011, Hot Banditoz re-formed with founding member Silva Gonzalez, Gabriela Gottschalk and Popstars contestant Diba Hakimi. Later, Stefanie Schanzleh, among others, becomes a permanent member of the line-up, while other members and dancers join the formation from time to time. Today, Silva Gonzalez and Stefanie Schanzleh form the core of the band, supported by changing dancers. The band's discography ranges from early summer hits such as "Chucu Chucu (El Tren)" and other singles to the party compilation Summer Party Hits - 20 Years released in 2024 and the new single "Reality Star" released in 2025 .
