Roberto de los Rios Reyes, known professionally as Latin Fresh, was born in 1975 in Panama. He began his musical career in 1993 after moving to Guayaquil, Ecuador, where he participated in rap contests and released his first album. In 1995, "Tranquilo" and "Ella se Arrebata" became national hits in Panama, leading to a contract with Sony Music Centroamérica and an extensive tour across Central and South America in 1997. Latin Fresh signed with Machete Music in 2006 and released Plan Calle, marking his entry into the U.S. market. Throughout his career, he shared the stage with notable artists such as 50 Cent, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Daddy Yankee, and his music has been featured in documentaries like One Dollar: El Precio de la Vida and films including El Viento y el Agua.
