Ulrich Forman is a composer, songwriter and producer. The creed : sweet and sensitive melodies with an atmospheric folk-pop style featuring acoustic settings combined with touches of electronic influences.
For years, the film industry has solicited him, under the name of Polérik Rouvière. He signed the original soundtrack of the movie ''Falling from Earth'' by Chaddi Zennedine. This work was honored by a nomination in the category ''Best movie soundtrack'' at the International Film Festival of Dubaï. Then he composed other soundtracks for films such as ''Qui C'est Les Plus Forts ?'' by Charlotte de Turckheim, competing for the best music soundtrack at the Césars 2016, ''NOLA Circus'' by Luc Anest or ''Dalida'' by Lisa Azuelos.
In 2013, Ulrich Forman composed his first EP ''See My Love'' inspired by a trip along the Danube, in Budapest. His music is coming from there, a rusty folk with yesteryear's influences. Bloomy, dreamy and even aerial, that defines the music of Ulrich Forman.
A second EP ''Chapter II' with the main track ''I Got You'' and its video clip was noticed in many festivals.
In 2018, third opus of Ulrich Forman ''Chapter III – A Perfect Storm’' : it sounds like a mix of inspirations, an alchemy between sweetness and strength.
On stage or in studio, he collaborates with Fab Dupon (Paul McCartney/The Do), Florent Livet (Phoenix/Bloc Party), Pavle Kovacevic (Sebastien Tellier), Chab (Feist/Daft Punk) or Graham Hawthorne (Brian Wilson/Paul Simon).
Now 2022. New opus by Ulrich Forman, ''Chapter IV''. Intimate and crafted with precision and delicacy, the compositions serve sensitive texts tinged with poetry.
The artist's arrangements, both sober and rich, are sewn thread by thread by craftsman to make a setting for his melodies.
Ulrich Forman is taking here a new step in his musical exploration.
