Andes is the name of the musical project of Marcelo Hernández, Chilean singer, songwriter and architect.
In 2018, the EP Viajes en Secreto de Público Conocimiento was released, a debut EP that has Britpop and folk influences.
Between 2019 and 2022 the musicians Seba Cuazmo (Senador Dupont) and José Orellana (JoFe) join the project. Together they released two EPs La Distancia de los Conocidos and Reino Animal. During this period Andes performed in different cities in Chile, including a tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Andes recently released a new single titled “Gran Vía ”. The song had the musical production of Javier Barría (Reino Animal ) winner of the Pulsar 2023 Award for "Best Producer".
