• Figure importante du jazz français, le guitariste Pierrejean Gaucher ne s’est jamais laissé piéger par les étiquettes et a toujours privilégié la créativité, plutôt que la simple performance instrumentale. En 1979, il crée le groupe de jazz-fusion Abus, qui tournera pendant 12 ans, invitant souvent de prestigieux musiciens. Début 90, il crée le New Trio qui deviendra un quintet rendant hommage à F.Zappa (Zappe Zappa). Collaborant parfois avec divers artistes, il ne cesse de multiplier ses propres aventures musicales : Phileas band, la Fontaine et le Gaucher, le duo « 2G » avec C.Godin, le trio Melody Makers… Et le projet "Zappe Satie" en 2021 - Soit à ce jour, près de 20 albums et un millier de concerts dans le monde entier.
