Souvenir, a Spanish indie pop band consisting of Patricia de la Fuente and Jaime Cristóbal (born February 6, 1972, in Pamplona, Spain), began their musical journey in 1999. Their debut EP Souvenir in 2000 gained critical acclaim and was included in various national and international compilations, notably Caroline Now!, a tribute to Brian Wilson featuring artists like Belle And Sebastian and Teenage Fanclub. The duo's versatility was evident from the start, blending genres such as surf, bossa soft, country, tecno-pop, yeyé, jazz, rock, and dance music. Their first full-length album Points de Suspension followed in 2001, further solidifying their reputation with performances at festivals like Benicàssim. Subsequent albums included Recto/Verso (2003), Des équilibres (2005), and 64 (2007). The latter marked a stylistic shift towards electro-pop, showcasing their adaptability and innovation within the music scene. Notable singles include "Présage de l'hiver" (2005).
