Rusty & Doug Kershaw, a country and cajun music duo from Louisiana, USA, were composed of Doug Kershaw and his younger brother Rusty Kershaw. The brothers began their musical journey in 1955, recording for Hickory Records until 1961. They charted five times on the Hot Country Songs charts with singles such as "Love Me to Pieces" (1957) and "Louisiana Man" (1961) and performed on notable shows like the Louisiana Hayride and Wheeling Jamboree. In the late 1950s, they became members of the Grand Ole Opry. The duo broke up in 1959 after both brothers entered the US Army, reunited in 1961, and disbanded again in 1963. Doug continued his career as a solo artist and Rusty Kershaw passed away from a heart attack on October 23, 2001.
