Pristine, a Norwegian rock band from Tromsø, was formed in 2006 by Heidi Solheim, who served as the lead singer and songwriter. The group initially gained traction with their debut album Detoxing, released in 2011, which peaked at number 33 on the Norwegian album charts. Pristine's second album, No Regret, followed in 2013. In 2016, they released Reboot, their first album to be distributed internationally. The band toured Europe as an opening act for Blues Pills and was nominated for a Spellemannprisen award in the Blues category that same year. Pristine signed with Nuclear Blast Records in 2017, releasing their fourth studio album Ninja, followed by their fifth album, Road Back to Ruin, which reached number 92 on the German album charts in April 2019. The band's sixth album, The Lines We Cross, was released in 2023.
