Singer-Songwriter and loop artist Mathias was born in France, grew up in Germany and has worked as a musician in England and the USA.
In 2017 Mathias settled in Berlin, where he has since worked as a live, studio and street musician and started his new project Phileas
His personal experiences have increasingly led him to address socially relevant issues such as migration policy, basic democratic understanding, religious extremism and collective action against social injustice in his songs.
He carries the voice, songwriting and textual depth of a musician who is mature and confident enough to be aware of his personal and artistic responsibility. In his new songs, he seeks to inspire music lovers through authenticity, maturity and depth; aiming for an ever deeper connection to the audience and the world.
