One Voice Mixed Chorus is an American LGBTQ choral organization from Minneapolis-Saint Paul, established in 1988. Founded by Paul Petrella, the group includes gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender members, and straight allies. The chorus performed its debut concert in 1989 and operates under Artistic Director Kimberly Waigwa. Their discography includes the recording Songs of the Soul, released between 2000 and 2004, followed by Building Bridges in 2005. In 2008, the group released Old New Borrowed Q, celebrating its 20th anniversary, and later issued BraveSouls & Dreamers in 2012. The band conducts annual outreach tours across Minnesota and participates in the GALA Choruses Festival. Their performances address diverse themes including LGBT life experiences, AIDS awareness, and music by under-represented composers. A smaller subset of singers, known as OVation, also performs at community events and major concerts.
