British Soul-R&B artist Geo is an emerging voice carving out her own space in contemporary music, blending timeless influences with a fresh perspective. Growing up in a countryside village on the outskirts of a small town, she was surrounded by creativity from the start. Her father, a musician, had a home studio where she spent countless hours making recordings—some purely playful at first, but eventually growing more serious. Music was woven into her daily life, with a soundtrack ranging from Destiny’s Child to Willie Nelson in constant rotation.
From an early age, Geo was obsessed with creating and performing—writing, acting, dancing, and singing at every opportunity. Her influences span a broad spectrum, from Mary J Blige and Al Green to Tracy Chapman and Norah Jones, Nina Simone and David Bowie. Beyond these inspirations, her artistry has been shaped by the musicians she has worked with over the years, including veterans of jazz and Caribbean music in the UK.
Characterised by introspective songwriting, unique phrasing, and a soft, soulful tone, Geo’s music has captivated audiences at some of the most iconic venues across the UK, Europe, and the United States, including London’s Union Chapel, Glasgow’s King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, Los Angeles’ Genghis Cohen, and Brussels’ Ancienne Belgique. Notably, Geo was recognised by Australian blues band The Teskey Brothers and invited to join their Europe/UK ‘Half Mile Harvest’ tour as a special guest.
As she moves forward, Geo remains grounded in her purpose—to create music that is gentle yet powerful, sensitive yet strong. Her work is an exploration of balance, authenticity, and self-discovery, resonating with listeners who are looking inward.
