Siri Svegler, born on April 15, 1980, in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a singer and songwriter. In 2000, she studied at the Arts Educational School in London, where she was the lead singer of the band Guido Sol and participated in various jazz projects. Her debut album, Silent Viewer, was released by Compost Records in 2009 and won Best Newcomer Pop at the VW Soundfoundation contest in 2008. Svegler's second album, Lost & Found, was released on July 19, 2013, and won Album of the Year (English-speaking) at the 31st German Rock and Pop Awards. Notable songs include "Their Wine" from her debut album and "Beautiful Losers", which is featured in the German movie Gangsterläufer. In addition to her music career, Svegler has acted in films like Wolfgang Petersen's historical epic Troy (2004).
