Tiemoko was born and raised in the Parisian suburbs to the sound of Boom Bap Rap from the 80s / 90s. Rich in his Malian culture, he takes refuge in music as an outlet to escape paternal violence.
With his cousin Moussa, they spend their free time recording radio broadcasts devoted to Rap on K7 and have fun singing together songs from Assassin, NTM and Les Sages Poètes de la Rue.
Tiemoko began to scratch his first texts at 14 years old then co-founded the Harcelement Textuel group in 1995. They made themselves known by doing freestyles in the metro and Les Halles, essential places of Hip Hop in Paris at this time.
They meet Djs like Cut Killer, Goldfingers, Poska and start studio recording sessions.
Tiemoko left the group in 2002 then moved on to solo.
He released three underground albums and collaborated with Sly Johnson of Saïan Supa Crew, Dj Coshmar, Kaytranada and made several scenes.
Tiemoko is currently working on his next retrofuturistic project, which is slated for release in 2022.
