Emilio Baldoví Menéndez, known professionally as Bruno Lomas, and born on June 14, 1940, in Játiva, Spain, was a rock and roll singer. He started his musical career as a singer, forming the group Los Milos in the early 1960s. Their breakthrough came when they won a festival organized by Radio Valencia with the song "Tintarella di luna" and released their first EP on Discophon. In 1964, Lomas left Los Milos to form Las Estrellas de Fuego. Returning to Spain, he signed with EMI and adopted his stage name. His solo career began in 1966 with hits like "El mensaje" and "Como ayer", the former of which he performed at the Mediterranean Song Festival and won second place. Lomas' popularity declined in the 1970s, but he continued to perform occasionally. On August 17, 1990, Lomas died in a car accident while traveling to a concert.
