The trio was initially drawn together from the shared passion for folk music and European jazz. Starting off with some original arrangements of folk songs from the Irish, Norwegian and Scottish traditions, the trio's peculiar sound began to take shape and led to the writing of original tunes. The folk, free and rock influences intertwined with the jazz and classical training of the three musicians are at the core of the trio’s musical identity. The melodies act as a guide, leaving, though, room for individual and collective improvisations, in a constant search for a blended voice with many facets.
