Steve and April Bennett, the California-bred father/daughter duo who comprise

They sing Steve's emotionally insightful, compellingly personal songs with
timeless urgency. April's vocals carry a startling emotional depth that's rare in
one so young, and she and Steve merge their voices with an organic rapport
forged over a pair of lifetimes.
Such striking Wild and Blue originals as "Ain't Got Much Time," "Without Love,"
"Wedding Dress for Sale," "Being There" and "Looking At Me, Looking At You"
reflect Steve and April's remarkable talents and innate sense of history. The latter
quality is further reflected in their iconic readings of John Fogerty's "As Long As I
Can See the Light" and Kris Kristofferson's "Please Don't Tell Me How the Story
Ends."
Restless is the culmination of Steve and April's lifelong musical passions.
They've been performing together since April was a toddler, sharpening their
vibrant creative chemistry through years of live experience. Steve has been
writing and playing since his teens, honing his craft in front of club audiences
throughout the Bay Area and participating in a series of recording projects. April,
meanwhile, grew up developing a deep and abiding relationship with music that
was created decades before she was born, while developing her talents acting
and directing in live theatre.
Steve and April recorded Restless with some of the region's finest players, as
well as noted studio vet Jesse DeCarlo, who co-produced the album with Steve
and played guitar on the sessions. From beginning to end, Restless captures the
effortless musical honesty that makes Wild and Blue so special.
