Double Vision is a Spanish Eurodance project that emerged in the 1990s. The formation consists of the singer Carol McCloskey and the DJ Pedro Cervero. The style is somewhere between Eurodance and early techno. It is characterized by catchy melodies and hard, club-oriented beats. The group worked in a phase in which European dance productions were strongly characterized by fast rhythms and clear hooklines. From the early 1990s, Double Vision released their first singles such as "Sara", "Honey Be Good" and "Unsafe Building". Their international breakthrough followed in 1995 with "Knockin'". The song reached number 5 in Germany, number 1 in Austria and number 7 in Switzerland. The single stays in the German charts for 21 weeks and is one of the best-known Eurodance releases of the time. "All Right" followed in 1996. The song reaches number 36 in Germany and number 4 in Austria as well as gold status in Austria. In the same year, the album Unsafe Building was released, which reached number 44 in Austria and only achieved a low chart response. In 1996, "Alone Again Or ..." was another single success in Austria, reaching number 25. Later releases such as "Money", "Knockin' (Rmx 2000)" and "Love Me Now" appeared between 1998 and 1999. 2012 saw the release of "Knockin' 2012" as a digital reissue.
