Stefano Arnaldi is a talented pianist, composer, and conductor whose career is defined by a blend of virtuosity and unique artistic sensitivity. After graduating in Piano, Composition, and Conducting from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in the 1980s, he embarked on a musical journey under the guidance of legends like Carlo Maria Giulini, Carlo Zecchi, and Maria Curcio Diamand. His career took off in 1984 when he replaced Maurizio Pollini on a tour in Israel, starting to conquer the stages of the most prestigious theatres in the world, including those in Rome, Paris, Berlin, Dresden, and Buenos Aires.
His versatility led him to collaborate with the great director Bernardo Bertolucci, for whom he performed Bach, Mozart, and Scriabin's music in the film "L’assedio" and later composed the soundtrack with Alessio Vlad. He also collaborated with Bertolucci on the music for Franco Zeffirelli’s "A Tea with Mussolini." Arnaldi's talent extends beyond classical music, having composed for filmmakers such as Comencini, Paskalievic, Muccino, and Avati.
Stefano Arnaldi has created unexpected and fascinating musical encounters, playing in duo with Sting in front of King Charles of England, accompanying the legendary Carla Fracci’s performances with Chopin’s music, and composing jazz pieces with Peter Cincotti. His career also spans television and commercial soundtracks, working with artists like Lucio Dalla for the project "Diritto di Difesa" and iconic brands.
