Praised for the elegance and command of her performances, pianist Monika Lozinskienė is active as a soloist, chamber musician, and music entrepreneur.
Driven by musical curiosity, beyond the standard piano repertoire, Monika explores rarely played piano works by composers as diverse as S. Lyapunov, L. Revutsky, M. K. Čiurlionis and S. Vainiūnas. The resulting concert programs captivate audiences, offering listeners the opportunity to discover new works and re-discover familiar pieces cast in new contexts.
Since 2022, Monika is a City Music Foundation artist in London. Among her honours are commendations for her international musical achievements from Lithuanian Presidents Valdas Adamkus and Dalia Grybauskaitė. The 1st prize winner at the Josep Mirabent I Migrans Chamber Music Competition (Sitges, Spain), Monika also was awared a first prize at the Tonia and Tania Webster Competition (Glasgow, Scotland).
As a chamber musician, Monika performed at the Perth Concert Hall, St. Martin in the Fields, Bloomsbury Festival, Newbury Spring Festival (UK), Festival Musique et Patrimoine en Vienne et Gartempe (Saint - Savin, France), Edinburgh Festival Fringe (Scotland), Pažaislis Music Festival (LT) and at the historic Al Raco de la Calma (Sitges, Spain). Together with polish pianist Anna Szalucka, Monika completes the collaborative piano duo “Piano Phase Project” – a recipient of the Tunnel Trust Award for chamber music (2023).
