Beat Zeller, known professionally as Reverend Beat-Man, was born in 1967 in Switzerland. Initially aspiring to be a comic book artist, Zeller began recording music at age thirteen under the name Taeb Zerfall on his own label, Zerfall Tapes. In 1984, he adopted the stage name Lightning Beat-Man and formed The Monsters. His music blends garage punk, rockabilly, and primitive rock 'n' roll. From the mid-1980s onward, he began performing as Reverend Beat-Man, releasing numerous albums including Blues Trash (2000) and Baile Bruja Muerto (2003). He is also the founder of Voodoo Rhythm Records, an independent label based in Berne, Switzerland.
