Gildaa lives in the eye of the beholder, between France and Brazil. Her memory is like a moody phone: the signal doesn’t always come through. She sings bilingually but thinks in reverse. A satirical poet, at the crossroads of Folk and Baile Funk, she shares a drink with Jazz and RnB, breaking down the walls of traditional concerts. She only truly feels at home on stage, in her mind, where the absurd and the mystical are intimately connected, a space where, eventually, everyone comes together. It’s the audience that brings Gildaa to life. The audience only.
