Alon Matias was born in the 1920s and time traveled to the 2020s to become a singer-songwriter and producer.
Alon grew up in a Born Again Christian family in Angeles City. He started playing guitar in his church’s praise and worship team. His fascination with music production began when he discovered Garageband at the age of 10, recreating his favorite songs on his old phone.
He won free VIP tickets to a concert by recreating in Garageband, making his own arrangement of the song. He eventually moved to Manila to pursue a degree in Music Production.
His biggest musical influences are Panic! At the Disco, Parokya ni Edgar, MGMT, and The 1975.
Zoilo Galang (born in 1875) was his writing mentor. He was disappointed when Alon chose to time travel to the future instead of staying in the 1920s to live a simple life.
When he’s not busy writing, producing, or pretending to be from the 2020s, he enjoys spending time drinking, sharing stories, and surfing with his best friends, who are also time travelers.
