Crizostmo is a multifaceted artist who merges tradition with modernity. His sonic journey elevates Brazilian music by incorporating contemporary elements, reflecting the power of sound as a means of connecting with both ancestors and descendants. Born and raised in the outskirts of the Federal District, he first became involved with music through school festivals, where he immersed himself in the art, developing his voice and musical skills.
With his debut single Aconchego (2021), he marked the beginning of his career and has since released other tracks, including Piggybacking and Carnaval, culminating in the EP Criatura (May 2022). This EP embraces elements from various genres such as MPB, Soft-Pop, and Afro-Brazilian music, reflecting his roots and blending influences to create an authentic and captivating sound.
Currently, Crizostmo is deeply immersed in the creation of his first full-length album, following the release of Criatura Deluxe, an experimental and dance-driven version of his Criatura EP. His journey is defined by a relentless pursuit of musical authenticity, fusing rhythms and styles in a unique and immersive way—transforming his music into modern rituals.
