Flashback of Anger is a power-melodic metal band, born on June 2003. On the wave of good underground results, Flashback of Anger had two great opportunities: recording their debut album SPLINTERS OF LIFE at the High Gain Studios of Arne Lakenmacher (tour manager of Nevermore and Amon Amarth), Dirk Schlächter and Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray), under the artistic direction of Dirk, and having the frontman Alessio Gori as official Gamma Ray's keyboard player in their Hellish Rock tour with Helloween in 2007/08. In 2009 SPLINTERS OF LIFE was released under Limb Music.
In 2012, after a break because of the sad loss of the bass player Francesco Masini, Andrea Torricini (Vision Divine) joined FoA, just in time to take part in the new album.
T.S.R. (Terminate And Stay Resident) was released in 2014 under the german label IceWarrior Records. Fabio Lione (Vision Divine, Rhapsody Of Fire, Angra) appears as special guest on the track "Black Prince".
With a new lineup (Alessio Gori on vocals/keys, Gianmarco Lotti on guitars, Marco Moroni on bass and Lorenzo Innocenti on drums) the third album SHADES was released in 2018 again with IceWarrior Records.
The 4th album PRISONER OF WAR, a concept about war sadly inspired by the events of our time, has been released on September 26th 2024, this time entirely self produced in both digital and physical format.
