New Album "Groov'othéose"
Jazz, groove, hip hop—none and all of it describes Groov'othéose, the latest (and 6th) studio recording of guitarist Alex Grenier.
The guitar is still center stage in this new number. It surrounds us with a rich and refreshing musical landscape, brimming with Alex's distinctive blues touch.
He plays with Mathieu Debordes on keyboards (J. Lourau, Bojan Z…), Hervé Moquet on bass guitar (Kwal, J.L. Bergère) and Franck Durand behind the cymbals (T. Vaillot, F. Pernel…).
With a contagious good mood, the four musicians meander between an exhilarating form of Latin jazz and a more modern London-style vibe.
