Italian-born, London-based artist Max (“Makswa”) shares his deep love for Tech House and sub-filled music through a continuous creation of funky rhythms.
His music journey began when he was just 11: taking piano lessons and starting to create beats. He grew up in a family where Soul and Funky music was always present. At 19 Max first came in contact with genres like Tech House, Minimal Techno and UK Garage when he moved to London. There, he was inspired by the urban vibes of the city, and fell in love with the dance scene. This helped him achieve his signature sound.
Regularly playing at live gigs during the summer sunshine at private events and venues, Max keeps producing rhythmic records and edits that hype the dance floor. His recent Soundcloud edit of “Space Jam” reached a lot of love from fans, and new collaborations with the Spanish and German scenes open up new possibilities for him. His latest release "Can't Take My Joy" on Vivifier Records is a statement of Makswa's love for bringing energy to the dancefloor.
