Roland Cedermark, born on April 23, 1938, in Älvros, Sweden, was an accordionist, singer-songwriter, and composer from a family of musicians. His grandfather was a fiddler from Härjedalen, and Cedermark himself led the dance band Cedermarks from 1958 to 1973. He made his solo debut in 1976 with the album Lady Be Good. Throughout his career, Cedermark released numerous albums, including Whispering (1977), Harlem Boogie (1979), and In Country (1982). He sold over 2 million records in Sweden, with 12 of his albums achieving gold status. Cedermark appeared in various TV programs and was appointed Filipstad's ambassador in 1994. He passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 82.
