Thrower is a loud and heavy band formed in late 2023 in Houston, TX. Thrower rotates hard rock, grunge, and metal, to create a progressive and powerhouse sound. Members consist of Isaac Thrower (Vocals) ,Cole Stratulate (Guitar), August Galliano (Guitar), Paul Duty (Bass) and Rocky Conant (Drums).
The band formed in Houston Texas in 2023 however the beginnings go all the way back to 2020 when Cole Stratulate and Isaac Thrower first met in their Highschool years. Both inspired by the 90s grunge movement with bands like Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, but also the 70s classic era, they decided to try to form a band. Initially the project did not take off and the two both went their separate ways in different states. Three years later after both being in other bands, Isaac re-kindled his old demos including some from Cole and reconnected with him. Deciding they needed a band Cole recruited his old friend and guitarist August, and eventually led to the addition of Rocky Conant and Paul Duty after previous members left. The old demos got into the hands of Mark Gray who then were shown to Bobby Amaru of Saliva and thus Thrower's first album "Blink" was born. After the release, Thrower then went on tour with Saliva , Drowning Pool, and Above Snakes for the Snafu tour, and eventually toured with Cold, University Drive, and September Mourning on Colds anniversary tour for "13 Ways to Bleed on stage" and "A Different Kind of Pain." Thrower is currently releasing new music starting December 12th 2025 in collaboration with Howard Benson, Bobby Amaru, Neil Sanderson, and more, and the band is continuing to explore their sound and future.
