1er Single AÏTEKA ANTHEM is out !!!!
Aïteka draws from afrobeat, funk, and jazz to give depth and substance to conscious lyrics, while staying deeply rooted in dance and popular celebration. The arrangements are carefully crafted — sometimes sophisticated — yet always designed to serve the melody.
Because the band’s goal isn’t just to make people move; they also aim to awaken awareness by offering music that is accessible, festive, and meaningful.
Their debut album, "Coquí" (set for release on March 28, 2026), embodies this vision. Its title refers to a small frog native to Puerto Rico — a national symbol now threatened by climate change and gentrification. Aïteka places its work within the afrobeat tradition: making people dance while carrying a message of social engagement.
Founded in 2022 around Noé Moureaux — saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer — Aïteka is guided by his artistic direction. He composes the music, co-writes the lyrics with artist Romtom, and shapes the collective’s overall vision.
By his side, Adriana Maria, a singer with a deep, distinctive voice, holds a central role. A Puerto Rican now based in France, she also spent ten years in California, where she performed with salsa and afrobeat orchestras.
Surrounding them, six musicians complete the collective:
Kévin Lazakis (guitar), Clément Dodray (saxophone), Adrien Boulanger (piano), Julien Calcado (bass), Vincent Devilliers (percussion), and Johann Feuerstoss (drums).
