Tambour Battant is a French electronic duo that has established itself in the music scene with its remarkable ability to blend genres, from electro and bass music to hip- hop, Afrobeats, and dancehall. Since their debut in the 2000s, producers Ben Stoker and Cobaa have crafted a unique sound that defies musical labels, embracing a fearless approach to mixing styles.
The duo boasts a robust discography, including numerous EPs, remixes, edits, and albums such as TBBT (2014), Dance All Night (2017), and Galore (2019), each showcasing new dimensions of their creativity. Founders of the labels Chateau Bruyant and Gold Diggers, which are among the finest French representatives of Bass Music and Bass House respectively, Tambour Battant have secured a prominent place in the French electronic music scene. With over 600 concerts under their belt, both in France and internationally, they’ve graced the stages of major festivals like Solidays, Printemps de Bourges, Marsatac, Plages Électroniques, and Chorus.
Their music has also reached broader audiences through extensive synchronization in advertising campaigns (e.g., Morocco: Land of Light, Victoria’s Secret, GoPro), films (Rambo: Last Blood, Isi & Ossi), and TV series (Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, Surface, Snowpiercer, Blacklist).
