Born and raised in Croydon, South London—the birthplace of Dubstep - LOST is a prominent figure in the genre's evolution. Growing up in a city renowned for producing influential artists, he began his musical journey as a Grime DJ in 2004. At 12, he acquired his first set of turntables, frequenting Big Apple Records to expand his vinyl collection. Inspired by his father's career as a house DJ/producer, LOST pursued studies in music business and production.
In 2005, he shifted his focus to the emerging Dubstep scene, attending events like DMZ at Brixton Mass and FWD at Plastic People. There, he was influenced by pioneers such as Skream, Benga, Coki, Mala, and Loefah. This inspiration led him to produce Dubstep, with his debut release "Neck Back" on Sin City Records in 2008.
LOST joined HENCH Recordings, contributing to the label's innovative sound and influencing a new generation of producers. His dynamic performances have graced venues and festivals across the UK, Europe, and the USA, including Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Motion, Infrasound Festival, Valhalla Festival, and Outlook Festival. He has also made guest appearances on BBC Radio 1Xtra, KissFM, Rinse FM, SWU FM, and multiple episodes on GetDarker TV.
In addition to his musical endeavors, LOST founded RVRSL Records, signing artists like Requake, Jakes, Bukez Finezt, Max Mudie, and Abstrakt Sonance. His discography features releases on esteemed labels such as HENCH, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Wheel & Deal, Sentry, GetDarker, Disciple, Subcarbon, Deadbeats & more. LOST continues to push production boundaries, maintaining a deep connection with his fans and the broader Dubstep community.
