Galaxy 2 Galaxy was an electronic music collective originating from Detroit, United States. Formed in 1993, the project was initially conceived by Mike Banks as a studio outlet under the Underground Resistance label, drawing inspiration from jazz and high-tech soul. Their debut EP, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, featured tracks such as "Hi-Tech Jazz" and "Journey of the Dragons". In 2005, the project evolved into a live band with the release of A High Tech Jazz Compilation, a two-disc set that included notable tracks like "Metamorphosis" and "Nation 2 Nation". The live band featured members such as Esteban Adame, Santiago Salazar, DJ Dex, Gerald Mitchell, Raphael Merriweathers Jr., and Mike Banks.
