Legendary Doom Metal band
Left Hand Solution was formed in 1991, released three albums, toured Europe, the US and Canada and made a big impression with their highly unique version of Doom metal. As half of the band also played in the increasingly successful The Kristet Utseende and family and children took the rest of the time, the band slowly slipped into inactivity. What made LHS special was their combination of hard riffs, night-black beautiful melodies and Mariana Frykman's dark and distinctive voice. They deviated early from current metal norms and as one of the early metal bands with a female vocalist, their influence has largely been missed and only now has their importance been paid full attention.
In 2019 they came back with the album Through the Mourning Woods and now the new one is out - Dead of Winter!
