alleykat is from Newport Beach and has been in the music industry since 2006. Her love for music began when she started playing the violin in school. She went to Orange County School of the Arts for Instrumental and Commercial Music. She played bass guitar in two metal bands and played viola in dozens of orchestras.

Kat found her true passion in electronic music. Her favorite venues to play at are nightclubs such as Academy LA and Time Nightclub. She has a residency at Proof Bar and has provided support for MAKJ, Cash Cash, Laidback Luke, Vinai, KLOUD. She is played frequently on the radio Vibe 99.7, Wild949, iheartradio, and Ghetto House Radio.
