Lianna “Oly” Hau'oli Sylvan is an American musician and writer. She is from a musical, Hispanic, Asian-Pacific Islander and Caribbean family. She first gained media attention with her sister, Anora, when they performed their original song on the Oprah Show. She has made Billboard charts and garnered support from top djs like Tiesto and Steve Aioki. Her music has appeared on Apple TV, MTVs Siesta Key, All In Podcast with Chamath Palihapitiya, 3lau’s historic collectible NFT music album, fine art by the likes of Sabet, Eloh, Cody Seekins and Kledia Spiro, and collaborations with acclaimed performers like Val Kilmer, George Lopez, Grimes and Stick Figure. She has released music on music labels Armada, Spinnin’ Records, NCS, Lowly, Trap Nation, Dim Mak and more. Recent credits include the episodic, sci-fi graphic novel, Alchemist, published via Somnium Times. Her experience as a trauma survivor inspired her to create The Sound Mind music and meditation project using techniques supported by over 20 research studies. She teaches yoga and meditation and is an advocate for nervous system health and awareness.
