Jukka Tapio Karjalainen, known professionally as J. Karjalainen, was born in 1957, in Finland and is a Finnish singer-songwriter. His musical journey began with the release of his first album, J. Karjalainen ja Mustat Lasit, in 1981. Over the years, Karjalainen has released numerous albums, including Kookospähkinäkitara (1987), Lännen-Jukka (2006), and Polkabilly Rebels (2010). His music blends various genres such as blues, rock 'n' roll, folk, country, soul, funky, and New Orleans styles.
