Born in Windhoek - Namibia , Imbuwa crafts a sound deeply influenced by his life experiences, travels, and the styles of Deep House, Afro House, Hip-hop, and Electronica. His music blends the abstract sounds and melodies of Deep House with the powerful kicks and basslines of Hip-hop. His production style is progressive yet non-linear, embodying the dynamic essence of Electronica. Rooted in African heritage, Imbuwa integrates traditional rhythms and live instrumentation unique to Afro House.
While "Shangwe" marks his debut commercial release as a producer, Imbuwa is far from a newcomer to the Namibian music scene. With a career spanning over a decade, he has demonstrated his versatility by producing Hip-hop and Afro beats for various local artists. More recently, he has established himself as a Creative Director, working with some of Namibia's most prominent brands.
