Le Derby is a musical project that blends English lyrics and melancholic voices with commercial pop and alternative electronic music (hyperpop, experimental), featuring dark undertones and rough sounds.
It draws inspiration from Artpop: the visual universe is present in music; it takes inspiration from cars, creating a futuristic and vintage aesthetic that infiltrate the songs with metallic sounds.
Le Derby combines the strength of a machine with the vulnerability of a human being. The persona embodies this duality, creating an experience that navigates between extremes (darkness and light, despair and invincible feeling). The main theme is resilience.
