The separation of SLEEPPERS did not put an end to the creativity of its members, and to the desire to continue in another form the musical adventure built for more than 30 years.
The core composed of Laul and Fred (Rhythmique des Sleeppers…), improved
and enriched by the arrival of David Passicos (Grasshoper, Es lo Que hay…), is at the origin of a new project, KYLE. It is a new approach, rich in our past experiences, open to total creative freedom. The project is part of a sincere evolution that highlights our love of big sound.
The group is made up of 3 members, Fred GIRARD (drum, Machines), David Passicos (Guitar, Indian instruments) and Laul GIRARD (Bass, guitar and vocals). Raphaël SERE (guitarist of SLEEPPERS) is a Special guest on 2 tracks in the Studio, as well as Romain Humeau on “Sampling Life” for an astonishing Feat. On sound, production and much more, lifelong friend Fred NORGUET, who was accompanied in the adventure by Alain Lesparat (for sound recording). The visuals and music video for “Mind Creep” were produced by Emmanuel BRILLET.
The Group intends to go on tour in 2023, they will be accompanied
by Antoine Le Roux (The Twin Stoners), on Guitar and Mathieu Dugravat on sound.
