Born on July 8, 1999, in Bafia, within the Mbam department of Cameroon’s Central Region, Mbiata Ndjeuga Arthur, known by his stage name King Arthur FB, is an undeniably talented young artist. Inspired by the conquering spirit of the Breton lord from whom he takes his pseudonym, Arthur stands out with an enchanting voice, akin to an intoxicating elixir that leaves no one indifferent.
King Arthur FB took his first steps into the music world in 2017 after obtaining his baccalaureate. He then left his hometown to settle near the banks of the Wouri River, a more conducive environment for nurturing his talent. His beginnings were marked by constant effort and unwavering determination, which caught the attention of the elite Rap-Kmer artists. For about two years, he learned alongside various artists, forging his unique style.
In 2021, he gained recognition from the Cameroonian public with the release of his first official single, "C’est La Vérité." This work marked the dawn of Trap Mboa, a unique blend of Trap, Benskin, and Makunè, for which King Arthur FB proudly claims paternity. The success of this single propelled him to the forefront and opened multiple opportunities, although he chose to continue self-producing, waiting for the right moment.
In July 2022, he released his second music video titled "Le Temps De Dieu." This synchronous musical offering gathered a broad audience and confirmed King Arthur FB's growing presence in the Cameroonian music scene. The single became his first major hit, earning him public recognition and several awards, including two trophies at the SGBC Awards as the 2022 musical revelation of the year and the YOF D’OR for the best young artist of the year at the YOF Awards.
Under the guidance of True Label and Consulting (TLC), King Arthur FB continued his rise. On September 13, 2023, he released his first mixtape, featuring the track "Habaa," a true showcase of his talent in writing, punchlines, and Afro Urban rhythm. This project was followed by the single "Cesser," featuring Lydol and Hens, and a significant collaboration with Aloch 237, both having a substantial local impact.
King Arthur FB's sounds transcend classes and races, thanks to a rich and varied thematic choice. His journey, marked by remarkable musical continuity, promises a bright future under the mentorship of TLC.
