Founded in 2022 by Gustavo Vernechio and music producer Henrique Ferraz, King ov Deception originated in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil, aiming to establish itself as a digital band in the Death/Black Metal scene.
Anticipating the need for a full lineup, Thiago Silva (Oudn) joined as guitarist, and Airam Souza (Order of Destruction) completed the team as supporting drummer.
King ov Deception fuses the visceral brutality of Death Metal with the enigmatic atmosphere of Black Metal. Their debut album, The Hunt, is an immersive medieval horror narrative that transports listeners to a parallel universe where historical events take on dark and macabre forms.
With crushing riffs, intense blast beats, and relentless guttural vocals, the band also surprises by incorporating sacred choirs and captivating orchestrations. The lyrics delve into deep reflections on the price of sin and the quest for salvation, creating an epic and dark musical experience.
