Oscar Bruno Thorbjørnsen Salas, better known as Ozgi L.A., is a 28-year-old artist (singer and songwriter) with a unique cultural background. He writes and creates positive, uplifting songs. Growing up surrounded by a diverse range of musical influences, Ozgi's genre-defying style is hard to pin down. He gravitates towards urban music genres such as hip-hop, reggaeton, dembow, R&B, rap, and afrobeats, among others. However, he also draws inspiration from traditional Latin genres like merengue, bachata, salsa, and more.
Ozgi, born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to a Dominican mother and a Norwegian father, he later moved to Oslo, Norway. Oscar's musical journey is a testament to his diverse heritage, as he has always been fascinated by music, transcending cultural and linguistic boundaries.
Ozgi makes his musical debut in September 2023 with the song "Snakk Til Meg," a unique musical fusion alongside Chris Baco that bridges Latin and Norwegian cultures.
