The Kingsmen (or Kingsmen Quartet) are a legendary Southern Gospel group, winning 3 Dove Awards and a record 32 Singing News Fan Awards. With 15 #1 hits on Christian radio, the group has featured iconic vocalists Eldridge Fox, "Big" Jim Hamill, Ray Dean Reese, Squire Parsons, Johnny Parrack, and more. They were the first group to film and record a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry. The Kingsmen were also inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Their 1981 hit “Excuses” became their longest-running #1 song, holding the spot for 18 months.
